Museum: Bottega Museo di Ranieri Rossi, Cicli f.lli Rossi

The Bottega Museo di Ranieri Rossi, Cicli f.lli Rossi, is a private collection but that is open to the public. The museum is located at Via Roma,1 in Siena. It was here that the three Rossi brothers, Eugenio, Martino and Ranieri ran the workshop and sold bicycles since 1935 (along with their first location between Via Camollia and Via Campansi). The museum is the passion of Stelio Rossi, son of Ranieri Rossi.

The small museum contains diligently preserved equipment, tools, bicycles, parts and accessories. The collection also includes a substantial collection of books and vintage magazines.

Reservations for the museum can be made by calling 349 5263212 or by email (see address in photo).

This museum will be added to the CYCLING MUSEUMS IN ITALY article.

  1. Cicli Rossi! On my lone trip to Sienna I stumbled into the shop and Mama Rossi talked me into buying their cap instead of an Acqua Sapone cap. I had no idea there was a museum as well. Is it across the street from the shop?

  2. If only we'd known of this when we tried to visit the Bartali museum! Oh well, there's always next time, Siena's not too far away from us in Viterbo. Regarding the closure of the Bartali museum, the cranky voice on the phone when we called to see what was going on implied that it might reopen soon?
