Giro dell’Appennino
Fabio Felline (Androni Giocattoli -Venezuela) won the one-day, 194.5 km, Giro dell’Appennino, in a sprint ahead of Gianluca Brambilla (Colnago Csf) and Francesco Reda (Acqua&Sapone).
Michele Scarponi (Lampre-ISD) appears to be in very good form leading up the start of Tuesday's Giro del Trentino. He led up the Bocchetta climb, 56 km from the finish, and was only able to be followed by Betancur and Pozzovivo. They led the peloton by one minute until 10 km to go when they were caught. Scarponi finished 6th.
