Riders started in Terme di Caracalla, passed through through the Rome city center, and continued on the Appia Antica to the hills of the Castelli Romani . There were two routes, one of 91 kilometers and the other of 145 kilometers.
The 2013 date for the event is October 13th. This edition will have a limit of 7,500 participants with 2,000 of those slots reserved for foreign riders. You can pre-register before October 31st at 50 euro; after November 1st the price with be 75 euro. Details at www.granfondoroma.it
