Maratona dles Dolomites: 190 Charity Slots Open March 27

Didn't get into the 2013 Maratona dles Dolomites in the draw or with a package? There is a last chance:

190 registrations at an increased price which the surcharge destined for charity can be purchased with a credit card exclusively online on www.maratona.it on March 27th 2013 starting at 6 p.m. (GMT+1). The charity project will be implemented by "Insieme si può" ("Together we can") in Uganda to improve the quality of life of disabled people.

175 GOLD registrations at a price of 200,00 euro and 15 PLATINUM registrations at a price of 400,00 euro are offered. With the purchase of a charity registration you will get a small souvenir of the event in addition to a preferential starting grid (Platinum registrations in the first starting grid, Gold registrations in the second starting grid).

2013 Maratona dles Dolomites

The random draw for the 27th edition of the 2013 Maratona has taken place. This is the participant list after the draw results. Participants selected must pay 87 euro between December 3, 2012 until April 17, 2013, according to instructions that will be emailed on December 3rd.


Those who were not selected will stay have a chance to enter via the "charity registration" route.
195 registrations at an increased price with the surcharge destined for charity (less the registration fee of 87 euro) will be sold (payment by credit card) www.maratona.it on November 27, 2012 starting at 6 p.m. (GMT+1):
* 175 GOLD registrations at a price of 200,00 euro;
* 15 PLATINUM registrations at a price of 400,00 euro;
* 5 CRYSTAL registrations at a price of 1.500,00 euro.

A further 190 entries (175 GOLD entries and 15 PLATINUM entries) will be sold online on www.maratona.it on March 27th 2013.

Another way of entering, that offers guaranteed entry,  is to book a holiday package through the official tour operator  Holomites. Unfortunately, these are now already sold out but you can try registering and hope to get a slot via a cancellation. Check www.holimites.com.

2013 Maratona dles Dolomites: Registration

Registration for the 2013 Maratona dles Dolomites, to be held June 30, 2013, will be open from October 17 to November 7, 2012.

As the event is always oversubscribed the traditional random drawing for starting numbers will take place in the second half of November. Half of the approximate 9,000 slots will be for Italian participants and the other half for foreign participants. The list of participants drawn will be published online afterwards. Register at www.maratona.it, find the details for the registration under "How to register at the race".

Another way of entering, that offers guaranteed entry,  is to book a holiday package through the official tour operator  Holomites. These offers include the registration fee, accommodation in facilities of various categories beginning from a period of 4 nights, along with different benefits for participants and their accompanying persons.  These packages will be available beginning October 15th at www.holimites.com.

Once again there will be some slots available next year with a surcharge; these surcharges go to a charitable organization.

October 17th to November 7th 2012: Opening of pre-registrations

Second half of November 2012: draw (the list of participants drawn will be published on-line afterwards)

November 27th 2012: on-line availability of 190 starting numbers which surcharge will be assigned to charitable institutions

December 3rd 2012: first day for confirming the participation by paying the registration

March 27th 2013: on-line availability of 190 starting numbers which surcharge will be assigned to charitable institutions

April 17th 2013: last day for confirming the participation by paying the registration
