With L'Eroica in Chianti around the corner here is a video report of the first L'Eroica Japan which was held in May of this year. The start took place in Fuji Kawaguchiko-machi in the Yamanashi Prefecture where you could admire Mt. Fuji and the beautiful five lakes.
L'Eroica Japan became an official sister event of L'Eroica based upon an agreement signed in 2012.

L'Eroica Japan: May 19, 2013
As we previously wrote, here, there will be a version of L'Eroica ("L’EIYU", L’英雄) in Japan.
The date of the event has been established as May 19, 2013, with the start in Fuji Kawaguchiko-machi in the Yamanashi Prefecture where you can admire Mt. Fuji and the beautiful five lakes.
A complete trip package from May 14 to May 23, departing from Milano is available. The tour is intended for Italians as guides in Japan will be fluent in Italian. L'Eroica Japan
In May of 2013 in the Yamanashi Prefecture less than 100 km from Tokyo the first edition of L'Eroica Japan, a sister event to L'Eroica, will take place according to an agreement signed at the home of L'Eroica in Gaiole in Chianti.
The agreement, between Furio Giannini, President of L'Eroica and Aki Nakazawa of the Nixita cultural association will launch a vintage bike event in the five lakes region of Mount Fuji. May was chosen for the event as it comes at the end of the dry season and before the rainy season.
The event will be organized in collaboration with Fiat Japan.
