Campagnolo: CULT™, Cermamic Technology
Campagnolo has released a video from its Camp Tech Lab™ explaining the benefits of Ceramic Ultimate Level Technology (CULT™) which greatly reduces friction. CULT™ ceramic technology is available on certain wheelsets and cranksets.
Campagnolo uses a combination of the best ceramic balls on the market and Cronitech® chromium stainless steel races made by the German company Schaeffler.
The testing results from the Campy Tech Lab™:
* 9 times smoother than the standard solutions
* Zero wear on bearings and balls
* friction coefficient: the lowest in the world of cranksets thanks to lubrication with oil instead of grease
* 3.5 watts more power at each pedal stroke, increasing along with the increase in speed

Stories for the Italian Cycling Journal about rides, granfondos, having a good time cycling in Italy, Italian cycling history, etc. are very welcome. Contact me at veronaman@gmail.com. There are more than 1,600 stories in this blog. The search feature to the right works best for finding subjects in the blog. There is also an Italian weather widget along the right side and a translate button at the bottom so you can translate each page. What I'm riding.
