Cinelli to Re-Issue 1A Stem

Cinelli is set to re-issue the iconic 1A stem that was first introduced in the early 1960s. The stems will be available for purchase in late August or September.

Good news for those that undertake restoration projects, are building a new retro bike, etc.

  1. Great news! I love using my Cinelli 1A stem Campione del Mondo handlebars on my 1987 Marinoni!

The beauty of these and other similar stems is the slight amount of "give" or flex they have - as well as the regular diameter alloy bars.

I find ahead systems with alloy or carbon plus oversize diameters to be so rigid that it fatigues my hands and upper body on longer rides.

Hope the re-issue is available polished as well as the satin finish.

    Long live Cinelli
