Colnago C59 for Colnago-CSF Bardiani
The Colnago-CSF Bardiani team will be riding a Colnago C59 again this year but with slightly different graphics (above) incorporating the Italian national colors. The bikes will also be equipped with Campagnolo Super Record again.
Actually, I just recalled that the frame looks like the C59 Unification of Italy model without the 150 touches (top tube, down tube, fork) that I published a photo in March:

Larry never thought he'd see the day when the COLNAGO bike was one of the more conservative-looking machines in the pro peloton...but there it is - beautiful but understated. Bardiani would seem to be an example of a pro team sponsor who's involved out of passion more than pure business promotion - how much benefit is a maker of valves for food-production equipment REALLY going to get from their involvement? Do many Italians even know who these folks are?
