2012 Maratona dles Dolomites

If you were not selected in the random drawing for the 2012 Maratona dles Dolomites you will have another chance to enter via 165 registrations at an increased price on March 22, 2012, starting at 6 p.m. (GMT+1) at www.maratona.it.

There will be 150 GOLD registrations at a price of 200.00 euro and 15 PLATINUM registrations at a price of 400.00 euro, purchased by credit card only online. The registration fee of 83 euro is included, the difference will be given to charitable organizations (further information: http://www.maratona.it/info/charity-2012/en).

With the purchase of a charity registration you will get a small souvenir of the event in addition to a preferential starting grid, Platinum registrations in the first starting grid and Gold registrations in the second grid.

The Maratona is on July 1, 2012.

2012 Maratona dles Dolomites

There were 29,100 entry applications from 75 countries for the 2012 Maratona dles Dolomites. The random draw for approximately 8,000 riders has now taken place, you can find the names at www.maratona.it.

For those that did not get selected there remain two ways to still gain an entry:
1) 170 registrations will be available at increased price; the money raised (minus the 83 euro registration fee that is included) will be donated to a supported charity:
* 150 GOLD registrations at a price of 200,00 euro;
* 15 PLATINUM registrations at a price of 400,00 euro;
* 5 CRYSTAL registrations at a price of 1.500,00 euro
These registrations will be sold (payment by credit card) on www.maratona.it on November 22, 2011, starting at 6 p.m. (GMT+1)

2) In addition, 165 entries (150 GOLD entries and 15 PLATINUM entries) will be sold online on www.maratonat.it on March 22, 2012.

2012 Maratona dles Dolomites

Registration for the 2012 Maratona dles Dolomites, to be held July 1, will be open from October 12 to November 2, 2011! Register at www.maratona.it.

As the event is always oversubscribed the traditional random drawing for starting numbers will take place in the second half of November. Half of the approximate 9,000 slots will be for Italian participants and the other half for foreign participants. The list of participants drawn will be published online afterwards.

Also, beginning October 12th, vacation packages, including accommodation and guaranteed registration to the Maratona dles Dolomites 2012 will be offered by the Maratona dles Dolomites official tour operator Holimites. Further information on the packages at www.holomites.com.



The Gran Fondo NY team is also putting a package together that will include guaranteed entry into the Maratona plus ride days of the Passo dello Stelvio, Tre Cime di Lavaredo, and the Selle Ronda Bike Day. Details here.
