Montepaschi Strade Bianche: March 6th, Part II
The Montepaschi Strade Bianche will have important riders contending for the victory tomorrow (Saturday). Thomas Lovkvist is returning to defend last year's victory. World Champion Cadel Evans will be racing for victory with other stage champions such as Franco Pellizotti, Vincenzo Nibali, Stefano Garzelli and Alexandre Vinokourov. Specialist of the pavé Filippo Pozzato and Fabian Cancellara will be lined up at the start. Former World Champion Ballan will be there as well.
The course will be 190 km in length starting in Gaiole in Chianti and finishing in the Piazza del Campo in Sienna. The route will have 8 sections of white roads totalling 57 km of the 190 km route; the longest white road section is 13.5km.
The finish in Siena at the Piazza del Campo is expected at approximately 1530 (Italy). A one hour program of the race will begin on RAI 3 at 1625.

Thanks for the info about the Rai 3 coverage. Stumbled into this race last year while channel surfing just in time to see fellow Swede take the win.. Good times!
