ITM "Vintage": Carbon Monocoque with Faux Lugs

ITM, the component manufacturer (well, designer) now has a frame line that includes the "Vintage" model. In their words:

"Vintage is based on the idea of recreating a vintage-style frame reminding the first glamorous racing bicycles. Their tubes have small sections. What distinguishes vintage from the old style racing bicycles is the new technology in carbon fibere, assuring high quality standards both in weight and comfort. The product is a monocoque made in HM carbon fiber with the shape of the old stylish lugs in the connection points and represents the style of a glorious past."

  1. Unfortunately, ITM, as you intimated, is no longer an Italian designer and manufacturer of stems, seatposts, handlebars, and other components. The company, which had been located in Loria, in Treviso province, went out of business, and the name was bought by some Asian conglomerate. ITM, which stands for Italmanubri (Italian handlebars) is now just another name with no history, tradition, or identity. Sad.
