I should have mentioned yesterday that if you are a Coppi fan you can purchase a very nice 100% Merino wool jersey from www.soigneur.co.nz (in New Zealand were they have a lot of wool). The owner of soigneur, David Carman, previously sent in this story about cycling in New Zealand in the 1970s and eventually making wool jerseys.
