Lino Messori, At the Speed of the Heart

Back in 2010 I wrote a short piece, here, about a Messori frame; a framebuilder I was unfamiliar with. That piece featured this unusual bike:

So, the other day my friend Buzz sends me a link to a video about Lino Messori and now we know his story, at least part of it; and, that of the red bike:
