L'Equipe: 2014 Giro d'Italia Start in Belfast

According to L'Equipe, a French nationwide daily newspaper devoted to sports, the 2014 Giro d'Italia will start in Belfast, Northern Ireland. The race is said to also visit Dublin, Ireland, before returning to Italy.

In late October, the Belfast Telegraph revealed the Irish bid for the Giro was valued at an estimated 4.7 million euro.

In 2014 the Tour de France will start in Leeds, England.
