The Lampre-NGC team has arrived in the Lido and have checked into the Park Hotel Perù. The final selection of the Giro squad has been made and will be: Bono, Bruseghin, Cunego, Da Dalto, Gasparotto, Gavazzi, Marzano, Mori Manuele and Tiralongo.
Cunego, who won the 2004 Giro, said, "Can I win? I don't know, I will start off as one of the favorites and then we will have to see what I am capable of."
Lance Armstrong said, "Never been here. Can't wait to experience it."
The team presentations will be tomorrow (Thursday) in Piazza San Marco in Venice beginning at 4:15pm (local).
