Velodromo di Montichiari Launches Website
The Velodrome in Montichiari (BS) has launched its website at www.velodromodimontichiari.it The website consists of several sections including news, event information, photos and video, contact information, reservations, etc. All in Italian for the moment but they do have an "English" button on the site.
The next important event at Italy's only covered velodrome will be the Juniors World Championships from 10 to 15 August.
The track is 250 meters long, 7 meters wide and the banks are 45 degrees. The track is made from Siberian pine. The facility can seat 1,400 spectators.

Stories for the Italian Cycling Journal about rides, granfondo, having a good time cycling in Italy, Italian cycling history, etc. are very welcome. Contact me at veronaman@gmail.com. There are more than 1,300 stories in this blog. The search feature to the right works best for finding subjects in the blog and there is also a translate button at the bottom so you can translate each page.
