More Stelvio

Photos from the Thomson Bike Tours' "2010 Trans-Dolomites Challenge" which featured 56,000 feet of climbing in 7 days in June. On the menu were Monte Zoncolan, Passo Stelvio, Mortirolo, Passo Gavia and the Ronde Sella over the Pordoi, Sella, Gardena and Valparola passes.

Stories for the Italian Cycling Journal about rides, granfondos, having a good time cycling in Italy, Italian cycling history, etc. are very welcome. Contact me at veronaman@gmail.com. There are more than 1,400 stories in this blog. 1. Nice photos! We recently completed our Legendary Climbs of the Giro EAST tour where we enjoyed climbs in the Dolomites, Val Venosta and Valtellina. Ten days in all with a finish atop Madonna del Ghisallo to cap it off.

  2. The name of this tour is misleading/erroneous, because the Stelvio, Gavia, Mortirolo, and Zoncolan are not in the Dolomites at all.
