Gran Fondo dell'Adriatico, 2nd Edition
The Gran Fondo dell'Adriatico, held for the first time in late September in 2009, now moves to a Spring date of Sunday, June 6, 2010. The organizers are aiming to increase the number of participants, from 500 last year, by moving the event date to June. June is a perfect time for a visit to Senigallia on the Adriatic coast.
The three routes offer something for every participant. The short course: 63.5 km with an elevation gain of 850 meters; the mediofondo of 93.8 km with an elevation gain of 1300 meters; and, the granfondo of 134.8 km an elevation gain of 1700 meters.
