With all the compact offerings from Campagnolo I thought the demise of the triple offerings were a real possibility. However, this week Campagnolo announced new triple options.
Three options are available:
- Athena 11-speed, in Deep Black and Bright Silver versions
- Centaur 10-speed, in Deep Black and Black&Red versions
- Veloce 10-speed, in Deep Black and Bright Silver versions
The groups now have ultra-light hollow aluminum cranks for the first time, the front derailleur has been completely redesigned, while the rear derailleur (which is also available in a long cage) is the same as the component used with the standard 10 and 11 speed versions.
