0C/32F early morning temperatures at near sea level have brought a little snow to Monte Baldo by Lake Garda, and to the higher elevations north of Verona. On many of the days it has warmed up to 10-12C/50-54F, wonderful riding weather.
Yesterday the lake was calm all the way to Garda. By the time I arrived in Torri del Bennaco, where the lake begins to narrow, there was more wave action than I have ever seen. Waves were also crashing over the breakwater that protects the small harbor at Torre.
I've been recovering from a cold + I am really trying to just do some easy spinning 3 or 4 days a week. It's hard to slow down though when you been going like crazy for so long.
