Two Largest Italian Bicycle Shows Merge

After a long running battle between the two largest Italian bicycle shows an agreement has been reached to put on a single large-scale exhibition event. PadovaFiere and Confindustria ANCMA (Confederation of Italian Industry–National Association of Cycles, Motorcycles and Accessories) have agreed that ExpoBici in Padova will become the unified show.

"The collaborative agreement with Confindustria ANCMA is a great step forward for ExpoBici," said Paolo Coin, Managing Director of PadovaFiere. "he cycling sector, which at this time of economic crisis continues to prove its great dynamism and entrepreneurial capability, deserves the unified efforts of all the players involved in the promotion and safeguarding of the Italian product in order to multiply the business opportunities available to the companies."

Last year, ExpoBici alone attracted 500 exhibitors and 47.000 visitors.

The dates for the 2013 ExpoBici are 21-23 September. Event website: www.expobici.it
