The 2009 Giro d'Italia is rumored to be finishing in Rome, on May 31st, rather than in Milan. The race route will be unveiled on Saturday.
The 100th anniversary (1909-2009) of the race is expected to be a real battle with 5 ex-Giro champions (Gilberto Simoni, Ivan Basso, Danilo Di Luca, Damiano Cunego and Denis Menchov), and Lance Armstrong (racing in his first Giro) participating.
